Remembering the victims from the Atlanta and Boulder shootings

Nancy Bardos is a dear friend and a long-time supporter of Vision Quilt. Ever since the Charleston shootings, Nancy felt a strong inner calling to express her grief and pain in a creative way, much like many of our young people who make the quilts. 

She uses her iPad and the image of hands to memorialize and honor the names of the victims. The number of hands corresponds with the names.

Before COVID, we printed her images on canvas and now we show them digitally. In 2019, we were invited by Moms Demand Action to showcase these panels in Sacramento, at California’s State Capitol.
