SUPPORT VISION QUILT'S 2023 PROGRAMS

Vision Quilt is seeking your support to help with our 2023 programming and the
dissemination of our curriculum toolkit to schools and community centers nationwide.

We are primarily a volunteer based organization.
Your generous donation helps our team continue serving
the communities most impacted by gun violence.

Click here to make a donation.

Support our work by sharing this appeal with friends, family, and on social media.

 We are seeking donations to:
  • Cover costs of materials for working with underserved students, schools and community partners in creating individual Vision Quilt panels
  • Disseminating our FREE multidisciplinary middle school and high school curriculum toolkit entitled, "Addressing Gun Violence: Creating Visionaries, Storytellers and Community Activists" nationwide
  • Exhibiting the Vision Quilt
  •  Hosting Zoom and in person events to connect and amplify the voices of young people, survivors and community leaders.
  • General costs such scanning and printing quilt panels, community outreach, etc.

Our dynamic Peace In the Streets campaign in East Oakland beautifies 1.6 miles of an underserved neighborhood. Each street pole banner cost $350 to design, manufacture and install.

Please make a tax deductible donation to leverage our efforts.

Every donation is greatly appreciated and no donation is too small!

Thank you for your commitment to create safe communities and to create a country that is just and equitable.

In addition to donations, consider supporting Vision Quilt through volunteering. We are looking for volunteers to support our future workshops and exhibitions. We rely on volunteers for everything from data entry to grant writing. We provide training – no experience necessary. For more information, contact Cathy DeForest at visionquilt@gmail.com.
Vision Quilt is a 501(c)(3) and your donation is tax deductible. We will send you a receipt for your tax records.
Thank you for your generous donation – no amount is too small.
